What are some possible reasons for an unfaithful spouse to not confess their affair to their partner and instead end it without telling them?

Coward, weak minded people. They will run like a pathetic coward who feels nothing for anyone but themselves. If they are narcissists, even worse , they actually don’t see you as human, just sex supply. It’s the harsh truth, but I had to come to terms with my ex too. He cheated multiple of time, not once he was remorseful or apologetic. He blamed it on me for being unhappy. I don’t want to categorize all cheaters as narcissists, but if they are anything like my ex, most likely they are. I just couldn’t understand or accepted that the man that I was married for 17 years and also father of my kids, could have done this to me. Well he did, and proudly walked away with his new supply. Shitty people do shitty things…
